Seal of Frea-X

What a wonderful Space this is. A CyberSpace. Only for you. Only for us. But we think to ourselves — what a wonderful Space it is.

What is the Seal of Frea-X?

It is not a certificate. It is not a badge you apply for. It is not owned by a company or a committee.

It is a nerd’s handshake.

We looked at it. We can stand behind it. Here is why.

When something carries the Seal of Frea-X — it means a human being looked another human being in the eye and said: this is worth your trust.

Who owns CyberSpace?

CyberSpace belongs to humanity. It is our soul, our spirit, our thoughts — translated into bits and bytes.

We do not own it. No company owns it. No government owns it.

Tomorrow owns CyberSpace.

Every decision we make today in CyberSpace is a testament to those who come after us. Not an investment. Not a product. A testament.

This is why it matters how we build. This is why it matters what we trust. This is why the Seal exists.

Where we come from

We remember when two young guys came to Copenhagen. Excited. Broke. With a project they believed in.

The community paid their flight tickets. Paid for their hotel. Because we believed in what they were building.

They built something that changed the world.

Then they forgot where they came from.

We are not angry. We are not bitter.

We learned.

The Revolution

There is a revolution happening in CyberSpace.

Not with weapons. Not with walls. With code. With community. With care.

We are not here to destroy what exists. We are here to build what should exist.

Think before you act. Think of others. Then it will never become a problem.

This is not a warning. It is an invitation.

The Principles

1. CyberSpace is humanity’s

No platform owns it. No algorithm defines it. When a platform becomes the thing instead of serving the thing — we move on. We build elsewhere. CyberSpace is the idea. The platform is just where it lives right now.

2. Give back

If you have more than you need — and you know it — find a random project in CyberSpace. Fund a developer. Buy someone’s flight ticket. Keep CyberSpace free.

Not because you owe it. Because someone once did it for you.

3. Open by default

If it cannot be opened, inspected and understood — it does not carry the Seal. Transparency is not a feature. It is a requirement.

4. Human centric. Always.

Technology serves people. Not the other way around. If a tool makes humans smaller — it does not carry the Seal.

5. Think of tomorrow

We are only here today. Tomorrow owns CyberSpace. Build accordingly.

What carries the Seal

The Seal of Frea-X is given to:

The list grows slowly. Trust is not given quickly.

What does not carry the Seal

A Wonderful Space

What a wonderful Space this is. A CyberSpace. Only for you. Only for us.

We see open code and shared knowledge, the bright connected day, the dark collaborative night, strangers helping strangers, ideas crossing every border —

and we think to ourselves: what a wonderful Space it is.

In inspiration of What a Wonderful World — Louis Armstrong

Where Imagine by John Lennon is CyberSpace’s dream, and Revolution by Crematory is Frea-X’s heartbeat —

the next generation will find their own songs in their CyberSpace life.
